SACCO MEMBERSHIP

Mikebe Sacco membership is open to employees of Nampak and Bullpak Kenya LTD, Spouses of Members, Children above 18 years and Individuals introduced by Sacco members admitted as per the Sacco’s By-laws. The Sacco currently has 251 active members in the Back Office Service Activity.

REQUIREMENTS: INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP

1.Complete both membership application form and nomination form.
2. Attach a copy of National Identification card, personal identification number and a passport photo.
3. Membership fees is Kshs.1,500.
4. Minimum monthly deposit contribution is Kshs. 2,000.00
5. Minimum Share Capital is 1,000 shares equity @ Kshs.20 equal to Kshs.20,000 (To pay within 12 months or equivalent to Kshs. 1,667 per month)
6. Pay Kshs 300 for a membership card.
7. Qualification for a loan is after 6 Months of consistent saving.
8. Monthly Contributions acceptable through any mode of payment i.e. Standing Orders, Payroll Deductions from employer, Bank deposit slip, Over the counter deposits & M-Pesa.

Sacco Exit

Should a member wish to withdraw from the Sacco the exit procedure is as below:
1. Tender a 60 days’ notice and fill an exit form.
2. If you are a member withdrawing from the society and have guaranteed, the guarantor should find an alternative guarantor replacement.
3. Transfer share capital to an existing member.
4. Return membership card.
